    Course Description

The Online MBA at Birmingham Business School offers a comprehensive and challenging programme that draws on the latest research and teaching methods. The syllabus is closely linked to our highly-regarded MBA in the UK, with an emphasis on Asian cases and institutional material. The course provides students with an understanding of both the operational and strategic aspects of management disciplines through innovative teaching methods such as action learning/research, formal and live case studies, and computer assisted learning. In addition to this theoretical knowledge, students also have access to specialist careers support services in order to maximise their potential in a competitive employment market.

We are proud to have been running this programme in Singapore since 1993. Following a syllabus closely linked to our MBA in the UK and taught by the same leading academics, we have customised this course to draw on more Asian cases and institutional material than in the UK programme.

These include action learning/research, formal and live case studies and computer assisted learning to complement conventional lectures and classes.

You will have access to the School intranet which provides a continuing source of support and access to module teachers. Infrastructure support is provided by our local partners who are in constant communication with the Business School here in Birmingham.
