Excellent learning support and access to the university’s library resources will complement your studies.

    (Student Profile)

    Trula Brunsdon

Did you attend an open event/meet the lecturer event? If yes, how did this help your decision?
I was unable to attend any organised events and so the course leader arranged to meet me personally. The meeting helped me to understand more about the demands of the course and reassured me that I would be able to succeed.

What are the lecturers like on your course? How do you benefit from their experience and expertise?
All of lecturers are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. They have “real world” experience of working as human resource practitioners which is invaluable.

What is the community like here?
There has been great camaraderie on our course, which has extended to the full time students on the Masters course who join us for some modules. The support of my fellow students has been invaluable.
There has also been the opportunity to take part in all activities taking place at the University has I wanted to do so.

How do you think a postgraduate qualification will help with your career?
The professional qualification helps me stand out from other employment lawyers by showing that I have taken the time to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of human resource management, which in turn will assist when advising clients.
