Join an international network commuting from a variety of roles and sectors across Europe and Asia. Learn with and from your peers, in immersive 4-day study blocks, to build a deep and practical understanding of business and management. Enhance your studies with electives and projects selected to align with your career goals. Throughout the programme you’ll get support from course mentors and develop your leadership skills with coaching and workshops from our careers team.

After you graduate you’re still part of the Bayes Business School community, including our network of international businesses and successful alumni. Seek advice from our careers team, and continue learning with a complimentary elective each year.

Delivered over a four day block format once a month our Modular Executive MBA allows you to have a more focused approach to learning providing a more immersive experience compared to a typical part-time programme. You are able to work full-time while developing new business skills, knowledge and expertise to transform your career. If you would prefer to study in the evenings, please look at our Evening Executive MBA.

Once you have accepted your offer this is the first step that officially makes you part of the Bayes Business School Community.

Pre-study modules covering mathematics and stats will be available to you from three months prior to the start of the programme. This ensures all students have the basic knowledge and skills required for the start of the programme.

There is also a range of pre-programme activities for you to complete including pre-reading and other useful information to help you prepare for student life.

You want to make the most of every moment of your Modular Executive MBA. We have designed induction to fit over a long weekend, similar to how you will be taught over the next year.

You will spend the time getting to know your fellow classmates and engaging in team-building activities. You will meet your Course Director, faculty and start to get to grips with the case method – a core learning tool in your Modular Executive MBA. You will also focus on careers and professional development activities such as increasing your executive presence.

Induction sets you up for the academic challenges that lie ahead and ensures that you and your classmates have a strong and shared knowledge base.

The first year is designed to build on your current expertise and explore other key areas, you will gain a bigger picture of business as a whole which you can implement in your work immediately. During the second year, you have the opportunity to tailor the content learnt through a wide choice of electives, culminating with a major piece of self-managed consultancy.

Why did you choose the Cass Modular Executive MBA programme?
As a Technical Project Manager working in the telecoms industry for over 10 years, I felt as though I’d hit a glass ceiling. I wanted to move into the tech start up side of things and I was looking to become more rounded and learn more about finance and strategy. As a result, I decided to study an MBA to help me shift careers.
I chose Cass as its Modular Executive MBA programme could be studied around my work schedule. The location was also important, as in my role at the time I was travelling a lot and wanted to travel back to London for my study days.
My office was based in Canary Wharf but my projects were all overseas so I commuted from different parts of the world.

What are the benefits of the programme?
Of course, the quality of the staff at Cass is excellent, but the huge plus for me was that the faculty has extensive industry ties. You also learn so much from your cohort, who are working in a wide variety of professional backgrounds. They become your family and support network while you’re on the programme and then your lifelong friends after.
At Cass, you are encouraged to apply the theory and the soft skills – such as negotiation and persuasion – throughout the course and at work. As a result, it helps you to build a lot of confidence, and you gain the skills to tackle lots of different situations.

What impact has the programme had on your career development?

Ultimately the aim of the EMBA for me, was to take my career to the next level. So, the Careers and Professional Development Team put me in touch with a careers coach. I worked with her for a few months and she helped me to change my mindset in terms of how I was looking for work and how I could penetrate a different industry where I had not worked before.
The EMBA at Cass enabled me to take my first step – a double jump – to a new function and industry. I pursued an opportunity that opened up through my MBA network and moved into the tech start up world as a technology consultant and group CTO for an accelerator/incubator backed by a corporate VC.
