Course Description

Course Content.

This is a real-world MBA. It is not just about the theory of business and concepts about organisations. It is an MBA that is rooted in business reality.

The programme is taught by a range of professors and tutors that have an excellent reputation in business teaching, research and consultancy. The staff members have worked / consulted with a diverse range of important businesses including Nike, Marks and Spencer, John Lewis.

The teaching and learning approaches include the use of group work, field visits, hosted projects, company-commissioned research and consulting opportunities – made possible by the fact that so many small and large business are located close to the London campus.

The MBA includes the involvement of business leaders – some of which are honorary graduates of the University.

Class sizes are limited to 25-30 students. This means that student has an opportunity to obtain significant, personal support and encouragement.

The MBA programme has a personal tutor – who is there to support the student through-out their time studying for the MBA.

The University has its own language support department which will offer in sessional English language support.

Through-out the year, the programme also includes on-going employability skills development such as in the form of CV writing, interview techniques and personal career planning.

The London MBA degree programme has been carefully developed by senior staff from York Business School. It’s purpose is to provide students with a deep understanding of the key strategic trends and management issues within the global business environment. In addition to the strong academic content of the programme, the MBA programme is further distinguished by:

Entry Requirements

Students require a first degree achieved at Class 2:2 or above from an approved University or Institution or possess an equivalent qualification.

Students whose first language is not English will be required to achieve IELTS 6 or above with no less than Band 6 in any area, or equivalent.

Course fees 2019-2020 academic year
Home & EU students: £12,000 per annum
International (non EU) students : £15,000 per annum
