    Course Description

Aimed at practising managers, already in work, this Senior Leader Masters Degree Apprenticeship (MBA) offers a flexible alternative for those looking for a programme to study, alongside their current work commitments.

This programme is accrediated by the Chartered Management Instutite (CMI), giving you the opportunity to obtain the professionally recognised status of Chartered Manager, and apply what you've learnt directly to your role.

    How does it work?

The MBA Apprenticeship allows workers who're already in employment to study alongside their current commitments and gain a full MBA qualification. As part of the programme, you will visit one of our study centres one day a month, for a 7-hour developement day. The rest of the time you can study online, using Arden's online learning platform, ilearn.

Expected face-to-face commitment is just one day a month in one of our study centres and these sessions include access to industry coaches and guest speakers.

What role am I likely to be in?

You will be in a management or senior role within your organisation and be responsible for either a department, team, business function or long-term project. Being in this type of role will ensure you can utilise the theory you learn on the MBA in the workplace on a day-to-day basis.

    Funded by your employer

If costs have been a barrier to you before, this could be the qualification for you. If your employer received access to government funding or is paid through the Apprenticeship Levy, it could be a cost-effective solution for them to upskill their employees like you.

Please note, to be eligible for this programme you will need to provide evidence confirming support from your employer, alongside evidence of appropriate employement.

How many hours will be required?

Depending on how familiar you are with the module content, usually an MBA will require around 17-20 hours per week of self-study. As part of this programme, your employer will support you by giving you extra time within the working week, for you to focus on your studies.
